Mobile Phlebotomist

We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, patient-focused, and comfortable traveling between multiple service locations while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, professionalism, and patient care.
Position Summary
The Mobile Phlebotomist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient collection of blood and other specimen samples for laboratory analysis. This position requires travel between assigned facilities and locations based on operational and patient needs.
Candidates must be comfortable working a flexible schedule and traveling throughout the following areas:

Shift Schedule: Working hours may fall between 5:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with shifts typically scheduled for approximately 8 hours.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently collect blood and other specimen samples based on facility and patient needs.
- Verify patient identity and personal information using appropriate identification and/or medical records.
- Ensure the quality and appropriate quantity of all collected specimens.
- Properly label, handle, prepare, and transport specimens for laboratory testing.
- Respond professionally to patient questions and provide appropriate information regarding collection procedures.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional approach when interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Adhere to all applicable health, safety, infection-control, and laboratory standards while working at facilities and traveling between locations.
- Maintain reliability and effective time management while completing assigned mobile routes.
- Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as assigned.

Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of related phlebotomy experience preferred
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Certifications & Licenses
- Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- A clean motor vehicle record is required for this position.
