Job Description
1. Program Background: The company establishes this scholarship program in order to encourage outstanding overseas students to pursue postgraduate degrees and continue their research at universities in Taiwan and to nurture talent for the communications industry in Taiwan.
2. Eligibility: Applicants must be overseas students who are studying for a Master’s degree (excluding in-service master’s programs) at a university or college in Taiwan or on outlying islands.
3. Amount: NT$150,000 a year with a maximum duration of two years. Taxes, supplementary insurance premium of Taiwan’s National Health Insurance and other government charges and fees will be withheld.
4. Obligations:
After completing the master's degree, recipients must work at WNC for a period corresponding to the amount of the scholarship. For example, if the funding is received for one year, or a total of NT$150000, recipients are obligated to work at WNC for one year; if the funding is received for two years, or a total of NT$300000, recipients must work at WNC for two years.
