【2026實習】AI Engineer Intern_資訊處 (台北)

<Job Description>
We are looking for a motivated AI Engineer Intern to join the AI Team in the Information Technology Division. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will support the development and delivery of enterprise AI applications across the group, from understanding business use cases to building backend services and integrating AI capabilities into real business workflows, including research and evaluation of emerging AI technologies.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to how AI moves from proof-of-concept to production in a large enterprise environment, including LLM applications, backend API development, and AI platform operations.

<Key Responsibilities>

• Research and evaluate emerging AI tools (e.g., agent frameworks, LLM serving engines, observability and evaluation tools) for enterprise adoption.
• Build LLM / Generative AI PoC applications, such as RAG, prompt engineering, and agent workflows.
• Clarify AI use case requirements with business units, such as classification, document processing, generative AI, and workflow automation.
• Develop and test backend services and APIs that support model inference and system integration, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support data preparation and evaluation tasks, including test dataset construction and model output quality assessment.
• Contribute to reusable AI components, such as prompt templates, pipeline modules, and shared service utilities.
• Maintain AI platform operations, including monitoring, usage tracking, and technical documentation.
• Participate in AI governance discussions, such as version control, access management, and responsible AI usage.

<Required Qualifications>

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or Bachelor's program (third year or above) in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Able to commit 2 ~ 3 days per week for the full internship period (October 2026 ~ June 2027).
• Proficiency in Python, with experience building programs or APIs through coursework, side projects, or prior internships.
• Basic understanding of AI / ML concepts, including model training, inference, and the practical limitations of AI models.
• Familiarity with SQL and basic data processing.
• Strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

<Preferred Qualifications>

• Hands-on project experience with LLM / Generative applications, such as RAG, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, ...).
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, or Linux environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms or LLM APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, open-source model serving such as vLLM).
• Strong interest in keeping up with frontier AI developments, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and clearly communicate technical findings.
• Interest in enterprise AI platforms, MLOps, or AI governance.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• A GitHub profile, portfolio, or project report showcasing relevant work is a plus.
