Position Summary\:
The Industrial Engineering intern develops and coordinates the strategies and plans that improve productivity with Manufacturing. Under Management supervision, implements practices to reduce operating expenses, reduce work in progress, and increase production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities\:
Learn to summarize, by significant categories, issue that affected manufacturing activity to Production supervisor.
Learn to develop crew load/shop load plans and reports.
Learn to estimated time value or standard in appropriate electronic systems.
Learn to provide schedule variance figures to manufacturing and assist in Performance reports (weekly) explanations.
Learn to implement cost reduction ideas (Method Improvements).
Learn to provide Weekly Activity reports.
Ensure visual factory information is always current.
