Quant Developer
As a Quantitative Developer at QRT, you will build the technology that powers quantitative research and trading, working directly alongside researchers and traders on live problems with real market impact. You will sit close to the trading desk and collaborate daily with trading and research teams to design tools, platforms, and infrastructure tailored to research and trading needs. The role combines strong engineering fundamentals with a deep understanding of how technology can accelerate research, improve decision-making, and support live trading.
Quantitative Developers are expected to solve complex technical challenges in fast-paced environments where performance, reliability, and iteration speed matter. It is a highly collaborative role that offers direct exposure to quantitative research, financial markets, and production trading systems.
Software EngineerAs an Engineer at QRT, you will operate at the heart of the firm's trading and investment activities. We design and deliver the platforms, infrastructure, and analytical tools that enable our strategies to perform in the world's most competitive financial markets. You will work alongside exceptional engineers, quantitative developers, and researchers, contributing to systems that demand the highest standards of performance, reliability, and scalability.
Our technology spans the full spectrum of trading, from ultra-low-latency execution to global risk and analytics platforms. Engineers build the infrastructure that connects QRT to global financial markets, brokers, and data providers. They develop the platforms that power order generation, design and maintain QRT's global, cross-asset trading systems, and build the firm's platforms for profit and loss reporting and risk management. They also create the technology behind pricing and risk analytics, while engineering the next generation of ultra-low-latency execution platforms.

- Technical Skills:
- We value hands-on software engineering experience gained through personal projects, open-source work, hobbies, or academic studies.
- Proficiency in C++, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and tools such as Git, SQL, GCC, and Linux.
- Mindset: Proactive, curious, and unafraid to ask questions. Able to identify and implement optimizations that improve performance.
- Approach: Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial in spirit.
Interview Process:
