ABACUS digital is a fintech company under SCBX. We use technology and data to make lending more inclusive, so more Thais can get fair and convenient access to credit through our digital lending products, including MoneyThunder.
As a Fullstack Developer intern, you’ll join an engineering team building modern, cloud-native systems. You’ll learn by doing, work on a real project, and have mentors to support you along the way.
What You Will Do
- Help build and improve features across the full stack: frontend, backend, and database.
- Write clean, readable code in TypeScript with guidance and code reviews from senior engineers.
- Write automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) as part of every task you deliver.
- Learn and practice clean code, SOLID principles, and good software design.
- Learn how code moves from your laptop to production through CI/CD, Docker, and security scanning.
- Work with product, QA, and other engineers in an Agile team, joining stand-ups, sprint planning, and demos.
- Deliver an internship project and present it to the team at the end of your internship.
Tech Stack You’ll Learn and Use
- Languages: TypeScript (Python is a plus)
- Frontend: Vue.js or Next.js

- Testing: Jest, Cypress, or Playwright

Who We Are Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and web development (HTML, CSS, APIs).
- Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Familiar with Git and basic version control workflows.
- Care about code quality and willing to learn how to write tests.
- Good problem-solving skills and a strong drive to learn.
- Good communication in Thai and English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Vue.js, Next.js, React, or Node.js from coursework or personal projects.
- Basic knowledge of Docker or any cloud platform.
- Experience writing unit tests.
- Interest in fintech or financial products.
- A GitHub profile, portfolio, or side projects you can show us.
