WoodmenLife is looking for an Additional Distribution Sales Intern to join our team! Ready to make an impact this summer? WoodmenLife is seeking an Additional Distribution Sales Intern to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will support the Independent Distribution team by assisting with sales operations, production reporting, distributor support activities, and administrative processes that contribute to business growth. This position provides exposure to insurance products, distribution management, sales operations, and reporting within a dynamic sales environment.

Gains broad exposure to the WoodmenLife organization by participating in internship cohort activities, leadership sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Summarizes and presents a capstone presentation highlighting project accomplishments, skill development, and key learnings.
Monitors and assists with management of departmental shared mailboxes and distributor inquiries.
Prepares and delivers insurance product quotes for distribution partners.
Assists with administration of sales incentive and recognition programs.
Compiles, analyzes, and distributes production reports.
Supports debt management and commission-related administrative activities.
Maintains accurate records and documentation related to sales and distribution operations.
Assists with research and analysis of sales performance trends and business opportunities.
Collaborates with team members to improve operational efficiency and sales support processes.
Demonstrates ability to leverage AI technologies to streamline workflows, promote fair and unbiased work practices, and coach teams on safe, ethical, and effective AI use.
Meets attendance and punctuality expectations in accordance with supervisor and WoodmenLife policy requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

We Need Someone Who Is:

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Economics, or a related field.
Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Interest in sales, distribution management, and the insurance industry.
The ability to craft clear, concise, and effective prompts to get accurate results from generative AI tools like Copilot.
Familiarity with AI-powered work tools (e.g., Copilot) for content creation, data analysis, automation, and productivity.
Understanding the responsible use of AI, including data privacy, security, and ethical considerations.
Demonstrated ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive, and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service.
