2027 Summer Internship - Retail Marketing (NYC)
Overview
The HarperCollins Retail Marketing team is seeking a summer intern! The Retail Marketing team is responsible for a wide range of things, including independent bookstore trade shows, liaising with publicity on our events program, managing preorder campaigns, specialized galley mailings, and more.
Responsibilities
- Works with the Associate Director in the planning and preparation of Children's Institute.
- Executes Indie Next Mailings and Creates Indie Next reminder newsletters.
- Assists Associate Director in Fall Regional Planning and in-house Fall Preview
- Mails out ARCs and promotional items to Booksellers on an as needed basis.
- Assist in updating internal database of Bookstores and Indie Next information
Qualifications
- Candidates must be available to work in our NYC office from Monday – Thursday for a total of 28 hours per week, from June 7 – August 12, 2027. Compensation for this internship is $18 per hour.
- Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2027 or 2028 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry level candidates with up to 1 year of work experience.

- Ideal candidates are either currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program.
