The Delta Robotics Innovation Center (DRIC) is established to support Delta Electronics’ long-term robotics development. Its primary purpose is to build and enhance Delta’s capabilities in robot design, manufacturing, and integration. Rather than focusing on delivering specific products, the center aims to cultivate core competencies that enable Delta groups to efficiently develop and commercialize robotics-based solutions.

• Research and develop tactile and other robotic sensing technologies.
• Signal processing development: Develop algorithms for preprocessing,

feature extraction, data analysis, calibration, and multi-sensor fusion.

• Sensing algorithm development: Convert sensor data into high-level features

for control, perception, or decision-making based on application requirements.

• Cross-functional communication and collaboration: Work with internal AI,

mechatronics, control teams, and external partners to define sensor specifications.
