This critical contract role will work with the Billing Support department team members to audit and reconcile outstanding invoicing reports to ensure timely processing of priority billing activity for 8x8’s key clients.
1. Confirm Contract Status
2. Verify Provisioning against monthly invoice
3. Create Clean BW
4. Create invoicing report by month, at least the last three months... Totals only
5. Present Clean Bill to CS AE and Store in Google Docs
6. Research billing accounting issues
- Fee Analysis
- New services
- Delayed Billing
7. Identify billing improvement opportunities
8. Review bill with deployment team for go live clients
9. Follow up on timely receipts of invoices from the billing team.
10. Understand and utilize 8x8's billing auditing methodology (credits, xrm, returns, etc…)
Required:
- Intermediate to advanced experience and skills with Microsoft Excel (will need to design / work with Pivot tables, Vlookups, design formulas, etc.)
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Accounting, Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing
- Strong logic-based problem-solving and analytical skills
- Outstanding spoken and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with positive attitude
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a similar audit / billing role.
- Prior experience working in telephony environments (especially hosted telephony)
