1. Commands the detachment in camp and in the field. 2. Prepare and operate in-service CIS equipment. 3. Maintain and secure unit CIS equipment. 4. Use information and Communication Technology (ICT) Systems. 5. Coach and mentor subordinates. 6. Supervises the initial set up of all Radio equipment including filling crypto. 7. Ensures all operators use correct VP and Fire Discipline on all radio nets. 8. Assumes the duties of the Det Comd when necessary.
