26982676 Technology Lead - Lending Applications Stability & Release Management (Vice President)
The Lending Applications Technology and Release Management Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing release governance, delivery execution, and production readiness across the Lending technology landscape. This role partners closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Operations, and Business stakeholders to manage application releases, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the smooth and controlled implementation of technology changes that support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automating a variety of tasks, including deployment, system monitoring, data processing, and reporting.
- Utilize scripting to streamline operational procedures and improve the efficiency of development and support activities.
- Troubleshoot and debug scripts to ensure they run correctly and efficiently in all environments.
- Analyze and debug the Java codebase to pinpoint the source of production errors. Develop, test, and deploy emergency code fixes, patches, and configuration changes to mitigate critical issues and restore service stability.
- Conduct deep-dive investigations into application logs, heap dumps, and performance metrics to identify the underlying root causes of defects, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks.
- Act as the final escalation point for complex and critical production incidents within Java-based applications and microservices.
- Identify recurring problems and systemic issues within the Java applications. Collaborate with and escalate to the core development (L4) teams to ensure permanent solutions are incorporated into future software releases.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing.
- Collaborate with senior developers and architects to design and implement new features and enhancements.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure code quality and resolve bugs.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure smooth application deployment and operation.
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback, ensuring high-quality code is delivered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
