2D Artist
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented 2D Artist to join our team and create visually appealing, high-quality artwork that enhances the overall player experience. The role involves designing and illustrating characters, environments, UI elements, icons, and backgrounds for slot games. Working closely with the Art Director, game designers, and animators, the 2D Artist ensures that all visual elements are cohesive and aligned with the project’s artistic vision. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Create 2D illustrations for slot games, including icons, backgrounds, and objects, from sketch to final mock-up.
Produce high-quality 2D assets such as characters, backgrounds, and props for games, animations, and digital media.
Develop concept art and visual designs aligned with the project’s style and creative vision.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure a consistent and cohesive artistic direction.
Create mood boards and gather visual references to support new project development.
Update and refine existing assets to meet brand standards and game requirements.
Prepare graphics for animation, ensuring assets are optimized for smooth and seamless motion.
Work closely with animators to ensure artwork is properly prepared for the animation pipeline.
Actively participate in the game development process to create engaging and visually compelling games.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for new projects.
Maintain and organize a structured library of assets for future use.
Ensure all artwork is delivered on time and meets the company’s quality standards.
Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and artistic quality.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Illustration, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience in slot game development is a big plus.
Proficiency in 2D design software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and other digital painting tools.
Familiarity with AI tools for design workflows.
Strong creativity with the ability to create innovative and visually appealing designs.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and efficiently organize workflows throughout the game production cycle.
Professional working proficiency in English.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Background in art education or strong academic drawing skills with a good understanding of color theory.
Experience in UI/UX design for games.
