Fulfillment Supervisor

Location: Greensboro, NC

Position Type: Full Time Salary

Overview:

The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for leading daily outbound operations including picking, packing, and replenishment to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with company standards. This role supervises hourly team members, drives performance, and ensures operational execution through strong communication, accountability, and process discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily fulfillment operations including picking, packing, and replenishment
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately, on time, and meet quality standards
  • Lead and develop team members through coaching, training, and corrective actions when needed
  • Monitor employee performance, productivity, and attendance; document and address performance issues
  • Review and approve employee timecards/payroll in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate shift activities and ensure effective shift handoff communication between supervisors
  • Utilize WMS (D365 preferred) to monitor workflow, resolve issues, and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve service levels
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (receiving, inventory, transportation) to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and communicate daily reports, KPI results, and operational updates to leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred or 3–5+ years of leadership experience in shipping, transportation, or distribution operations
  • Strong knowledge of fulfillment operations (pick/pack/ship workflows)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar WMS preferred
  • Proven experience handling employee performance management and corrective actions
  • Experience with timekeeping/payroll systems and approvals
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
