2nd Shift Pre-Stage Technician
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

- Prepares tooling by studying Work Order, Quality Envelop, Specification Drawings, Production Part; gathering tooling, parts, tools and materials.
- Ensure all Tooling is properly stamped with CR# before releasing Tool to Production.
- Lift, position, and secure tooling on carts or work tables, using cranes/hoist.
- Review and maintain any required logs, check sheets, inspection sheets, and work orders.
- Strong knowledge to perform Tool Inspections and preparation, knowledge of Tool Install of Forming Station, Trim Station, Strip Station, Stacker Station and Tool Removal.
- Performs post production tooling inspections and locate to proper area; repair or storage.
- Performs minor repairs to tooling and equipment.
- Assist in the overall maintenance of the Pre-Staging equipment.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed part and/or tooling using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure and dial indicators.
- Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes and tolerances of tooling and equipment, based on specifications.
- Keeps equipment operation by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Demonstrated ability for maintaining maximum utilization/up time on machinery in assigned areas.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Assure that master tooling is properly labeled and segregated for ease of accessibility.
- Communicate any production issues to next shift Process Technician for Pre-Staging.
- Assist on-the-job training and coaching as needed.
- Immediately take corrective action for any machine stoppage; notify Supervisor and request maintenance assistance in the event of serious problems with machinery of parts and assist in problem solving if other personnel are required.
- Recognizes and corrects safety hazards as they are identified.
- Maintain assigned zone in a clean and orderly condition; follow all safety policies and procedures including lockout/tagout, GMP practices to meet company standards.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing Events as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Capable of lifting an average of 75 lbs.

SCHEDULE
- 2:00PM - 10:00PM, Monday - Friday
Compensation for this position is $20-$22.00/hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. We are committed to fair and equitable competition practices.
