2nd Shift Shuttle Driver

The shuttle driver moves finished product through the Sauder complex in a safe and efficient manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Load and unload live bed trailers from and to conveyors. Drop & hook trailers.
Maintain radio communications with shuttle dispatcher.
Verify equipment is in safe working condition and notifies the dispatcher when repairs are needed.
Transport material in a safe manner, verify gates are in place and product is secure.
Load/unload pallets.
Contribute toward setting and achieving goals consistent with Process/Dept/ Co goals.
Work at continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, relations, work skills, etc.
Communicate effectively to build strong and positive team relations.
Attend and participate in team meetings.
Work effectively as a three-shift team and with the other teams on the same shift.
Regular attendance is required for this position.
