Summary
Temporary technician role in a hospital’s sterile supply unit, cleaning and preparing surgical instruments for operating theatres.
Location: Novena
Working Hours: Any 5 days per week (Monday – Sunday, rostered)
- AM: 8.00am – 5.00pm / 6.00pm
- PM: 11.00am / 12.00pm – 9.00pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean surgical instruments according to sterilisation procedures.
- Pack sterilised instruments for use in the operating theatre.
- Assist with general duties within the Theatre Sterile Supply Unit.
- Carry instruments and supplies when required (up to 11–12kg).
- Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Comfortable handling and cleaning medical instruments.
