3 Vacancies - 6 Months Contract GL Assistant Executive - REDHILL
Summary
Performs 6-month contract accounting tasks including month-end closings, payroll certification, audit support, and financial reconciliations in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Handle day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing (such as assessing the adequacy of accruals/provisions), and preparation of the monthly and year-end audit schedules
- Liaise with various departments in the collection of information and documents
- Prepare payroll certification for manpower claims
- Process claim submissions to funding organizations for funded projects
- Monitor funding accounts receivables on payment and follow up on collections
- Prepare monthly or quarterly report and statement to account owners
- Investigate and resolve user’s queries
- Prepare GST and other statistical submissions
- Process internal charge and reclassification requests
- Identify and perform clearing for offsetting transactions for balance sheet accounts
- Reconcile Inter-company and related-company’s transactions and balances
- Assist on corporate tax, internal and external audit matters
- Process improvement projects
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Accountancy
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Good communication skills; ability to communicate with various departments and levels
- Able to take pressure and work within tight deadlines
- Meticulous and with positive attitude
