MARINE HVAC DESIGN is looking for 3D modeller The successful candidate(s) will be part of a dynamic team working on 3D modelling and detail design of the different systems of the ship.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team responsible for 3D modelling and detailed design of ship systems, including HVAC, piping, cable trays, foundations, and related arrangements. The main responsibilities include:

  • Develop 3D models and support the integration of HVAC, piping, cable trays, foundations, and related systems in air-conditioning rooms, machinery spaces, and accommodation areas using marine 3D design software.

  • Read, interpret, and apply customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.

  • Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient system integration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree, technical diploma, or vocational qualification in Engineering, CAD Design, Drafting, Naval Architecture, or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar 3D modelling role.

  • Good knowledge of HVAC, piping, electrical, and outfitting system integration.

  • Proficiency in Smart 3D/SP3D, Cadmatic, FORAN, AVEVA Marine/E3D, NX Siemens, ShipConstructor, or equivalent marine 3D design software.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in written and spoken English will be highly valued.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and multiple concurrent deadlines.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to anticipate, identify, and take action on potential issues and problems.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Able to work independently while maintaining the high standards of MARINE HVAC DESIGN and KNUD E. HANSEN.

  • High level of accountability, integrity, and professional ethics.

  • MS office

  • Travel as required to support field, client or supplier
