3rd Line IT Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer
Kenneth Brian Associates are are recruiting for an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join a Managed IT Services team based in Crawley. This is a senior technical role involving complex troubleshooting, infrastructure support and project delivery across a varied customer base.
Occasional travel to client sites may be required where necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, taking ownership of incidents through to resolution.
- Provide 3rd line support across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.
- Maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including Hyper-V, networking, firewalls, VPNs, backup and disaster recovery.
- Deliver customer projects including cloud migrations, server upgrades, infrastructure improvements and security implementations.
- Support junior engineers, undertake root-cause analysis and identify opportunities to improve systems, security and service delivery.
- Proven experience in a 3rd Line IT Support or Senior Infrastructure Engineer role, ideally within an MSP environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Azure, Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, Hyper-V, backup solutions and disaster recovery.
- Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs.
- Experience with PowerShell, technical project delivery and troubleshooting complex infrastructure and cloud environments.
