Battery Technicians maintain, repair, and install energy storage systems. Responsibilities encompass testing battery systems, diagnosing faults, ensuring safety protocols, and providing technical support. Expertise in electrical systems and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • battery installation, maintenance, and repair - performing installations, maintenance, and repair of batteries in different types of equipment
  • troubleshooting - identifying and resolving issues related to battery performance and operation
  • record keeping - maintaining accurate records of battery inventory, maintenance, and repair activities
  • training - providing training and guidance to other team members and customers on proper battery handling and maintenance procedures
  • safety compliance - ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines related to battery storage, handling, and disposal

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in related field is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining batteries of various types, including lead-acid, lithium-ion, and nickel-cadmium.
  • Good understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols.
  • Ability to use specialized tools and equipment for battery maintenance and repair.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to provide clear explanations to customers regarding battery maintenance and repair procedures.

Shift 2 Monday- Thursday 4:30 pm- 3:00 am
