IT Business Analyst

Who You Are

The IT Business Analyst-Oracle EBS role is responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting business processes and solutions across FANUC America’s Oracle EBS system and other business applications. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring effective use of Oracle EBS and related systems to support organizational goals.

How It’s Done

• Perform technical analysis for the requirements gathered by business analysts and perform analysis to provide detailed technical design document of the desired application changes.
• Investigate system options, profile options, flex-fields, setups to provide functional expertise on upgrading to new application releases and new functionality.
• Review and analyze existing application customizations and extensions.
• Develop strategies for leveraging technology to meet and support business objectives.
• Responsible for functional and technical design, configuration change, setup, test and implementation for on-going Oracle EBS production support.
• Actively perform root cause analysis to implement the right solutions.
• Provide applications documentation and training materials as needed.
• Design, build, customize and support Oracle EBS applications, troubleshooting, identifying issues, performing root cause analysis, documenting and providing the best solutions to meet FAC’s needs.
• Review requirement documents, create and maintain technical design and other required documents per the Standards and Processes
• Provide production support, documentation and delivery of ad-hoc requests
• Build custom solutions including but not limited to, interfaces, extensions, workflows, OAF extensions and personalization per Oracle’s recommended standards.
• Follow established development standards and change management process

What You Need

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum seven years relevant Information Technology (IT) experience.
• Minimum five years of industry and/or consulting experience with at least one full lifecycle Oracle EBS implementation.
• Highly proficient in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.
• Expert knowledge of working with Oracle database and development tools like PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Oracle Forms and Reports and BI Publisher.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to efficiently interact with business partners, project teams, and business analysts.
