Merritt Woodwork is a premier luxury woodworking company creating custom interiors for mega-mansions, super-yachts, and high-end properties worldwide.

We are seeking a highly skilled 5-Axis CNC Operator / Setup Specialist for an immediate, 8-week contract assignment paying $40 per hour. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, programming or adjusting, and operating 5-axis CNC machinery to produce precision custom millwork and architectural components. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to interpret complex shop drawings, knowledge of tooling and machining processes, and the ability to troubleshoot and make machine adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience setting up and operating 5-axis CNC machinery

• Strong CNC setup skills, including tooling, fixturing, and machine adjustments

• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, and work orders

• Experience machining precision components for millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, or similar manufacturing environments

• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and maintain tight tolerances

• Strong attention to detail, quality, and workplace safety

• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision

Position Details

• Pay: $40 per hour

• Duration: 8-week temporary contract

• Start: Immediately

• Location: Mentor, Ohio

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM
