Indoor Sales Support Executive (Freight Forwarding)

Job Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries via email and phone.
- Prepare air freight and local trucking quotations.
- Source and compare freight rates from airlines, trucking providers and overseas agents.
- Follow up on quotations and customer enquiries.
- Conduct cold calls and telemarketing to develop new business.
- Support the sales team with customer follow-up and account servicing.
- Gather shipment details including cargo type, weight, dimensions, collection and delivery locations.
- Update quotations, customer records and sales activities in the company system.
- Provide customer service and perform other sales support duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, air freight or related industries.
- Basic knowledge of air freight quotations, shipment processes and local trucking.
- Experience handling customer enquiries, rate requests and quotation follow-ups.
- Comfortable with cold calling and customer follow-up.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience with freight forwarding software is an advantage.
- Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
