5 Days on/5 Days off Cross-Border Schedule - Class 1/AZ Driver
Summary
Long-haul truck driver operating Class 1/AZ vehicles on a 5-day on/5-day off cross-border schedule across Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, and U.S. regions.
Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This unique position requires you to be on the road 5 days at a time followed by 5 days off. Running primarily in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, Northeast U.S., and Midwest U.S. Average of 7,000 to 8,000 miles per month
- Required to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year
- Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures
- Additional work might be available upon request
- Regional work will be required
- Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
Candidate Profile:
- Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- Valid Class 1/AZ Licence is required
- Must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
- Must be eligible for a FAST card
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
