5 days Software Engineer - MNC Up to $6500 (AWS, Bonus, AL up to 21 days)
Salary: $4,500 – $6,500 per month
About the role
Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer role maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing existing machine software, developing software features based on customer and equipment requirements, and providing on-site software support and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing machine software
Develop software features based on customer and equipment requirements
Provide on-site software support and troubleshooting
Review and update user requirements and operating procedures
Work with Mechanical, Electrical and Application teams on hardware/software integration
Develop software utilities to improve equipment setup and operation
About you
Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or a related field
Have semiconductor industry working experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience
Proficient in C/C++ programming on Windows OS
Experience in PC-based control programming
Knowledge of real-time control systems, object-oriented software design and database technologies
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently
Willing to travel regionally
Experience with Vision, Motion Control and SECS/GEM will be an advantage, particularly for the Senior position
Relevant equipment/software project experience will be an advantage
