Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer

$3,500 – $6,500

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing machine software.
• Develop software features based on customer and equipment requirements.
• Provide on-site software support and troubleshooting.
• Review and update user requirements and operating procedures.
• Work with Mechanical, Electrical and Application teams on hardware/software integration.
• Develop software utilities to improve equipment setup and operation.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant software development experience in semiconductor industry
• Proficient in C/C++ programming on Windows OS
• Experience in PC-based control programming
• Knowledge of real-time control systems, object-oriented software design and database technologies
• Experience with Vision, Motion Control and SECS/GEM will be an advantage, particularly for the Senior position
• Willing to travel regionally
