5 Months Technical Accounting Associate (Up to $4,200) #BTS

Responsibilities

• Manage treaty reinsurance technical accounting and claims portfolios
• Process and review quarterly statements of accounts (SOAs), including account completion, reserves, sliding-scale and profit commissions, portfolio adjustments and cash calls
• Follow up with cedants and brokers on outstanding SOAs, premium adjustments, bulk reserves and unreleased cash calls
• Support the team in meeting monthly closing deadlines while ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing of transactions
• Maintain complete and organised SOA and claims documentation
• Assist with any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Technical Accounting and Insurance operations
