MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Development & Project Leadership

• Ensure adherence to HCA Healthcare development standards, including secure coding practices, version control, and documentation.
  
• Lead software development initiatives from conceptualization through production deployment.
  
• Enforce unit testing, integration testing, and peer code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for complex technical and user issues.
  

Technology Adoption & Innovation

• Define, track, and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure successful technology adoption.
  
• Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and adoption of new technologies.
  
• Plan, conduct, and ensure completion of technical training programs to upskill teams.
  
• Identify, evaluate, and manage the acquisition of new technologies aligned with business goals.
  

Emerging Technologies & Innovation Strategy

• Continuously research and assess emerging technologies for potential enterprise adoption.
  
• Lead the implementation of innovative solutions to improve business processes and technical capabilities.
  
• Design, execute, and evaluate pilot programs to validate new technologies.
  
• Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for strategic adoption and integration of emerging platforms.
  

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) & Product Ownership

• Own and manage the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for key initiatives.
  
• Act as Technical Product Manager, gathering requirements, defining technical scope, and managing backlogs and user stories.
  
• Promote and enforce Agile methodologies, ensuring iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
  

Team & Process Management

• Lead and manage cross‑functional teams, including developers, business analysts, QA engineers, and support staff.
  
• Ensure timely and effective application support and issue resolution.
  
• Provide technical guidance and advisory support to cross‑departmental teams as needed.
  

Collaboration, Evaluation & Business Enablement

• Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to evaluate and onboard new technologies.
  
• Partner with leadership, stakeholders, and clients to deliver application enhancements and strategic initiatives.
  
• Identify, assess, and recommend potential revenue‑generating technology solutions.
  

Architecture Strategy & Cloud Implementation

• Define and execute cloud architecture strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions.
  
• Oversee and govern cloud migration initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal outcomes.
  

Standards, Security & Compliance

• Establish and enforce architecture standards, security policies, and best practices.
  
• Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, corporate governance, and security requirements.
  

Cost & Performance Optimization

• Monitor cloud environments to optimize resource utilization and operational costs.
  
• Identify and implement performance improvements while maintaining cost efficiency.
  

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• B.Tech or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
  

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of overall engineering experience.
  
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or closely related domains.
  
• 3–5 years of experience leading and managing cloud engineering teams.
