Description
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary IT point of contact for business users and operations, providing local technology support and coordinating with regional and global IT teams.
Manage IT production incidents, including issue resolution, escalation, incident reporting, root cause follow-up and implementation of corrective actions.
Support IT Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) activities to ensure operational resilience.
Coordinate IT requirements for new business and client implementations, including system enhancements, application changes and development requests.
Liaise with offshore development teams to monitor project progress, resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery of IT solutions.
Oversee local IT production assets, application support and technology infrastructure to maintain system stability and performance.
Drive digital transformation initiatives by identifying business needs, facilitating technology improvements and supporting change management.
Act as the key liaison for cybersecurity matters, including IT vulnerability management, risk mitigation and security compliance.
Ensure IT operations, processes and documentation comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and technology risk management standards.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and regional IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiency and service quality enhancements.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in IT service management, production support, IT operations or technology project coordination.
Experience within banking, financial services, securities services or a regulated environment would be advantageous.
Good understanding of IT incident management, application support, cybersecurity, BCP/DRP and IT risk management.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with local, regional and offshore IT teams.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and financial services regulatory requirements would be an advantage
