6 Months Temp Opthalmic Technician *Contract role* -HSN
Summary
A 6-month contract ophthalmic technician performs ocular grading, imaging tests, and coordinates with readers to assess patient eye health in a clinical setting.
- Perform ocular grading assessments according to standardized protocol & reporting as a non-clinician Reader for different services
- Perform imaging tests for patients as per clinic assigned e.g. retina observation clinic
- Coordination with Arbitrating Reader on complex and/or escalated cases
- Complete accreditation or certification tests and/or audit review as required
- Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor or department
Requirements:
- Min Diploma, preferably in Biomedical Science, Biomedical Technology, Biological Science field
- Prior clinic/relevant experience in healthcare would be beneficial
