$60/hour Temporary- Emergency Department RN - Nights - Genesys

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Temporary 60-90 day assignment, non-benefit eligible position
• Work in clinical areas of greatest need due to staffing shortages, with flexibility across multiple departments as required
• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department during night shift hours
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring throughout shifts
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, technicians, and support staff
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical patient needs
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Manage equipment, supplies, and resources efficiently within the clinical environment
• Communicate compassionately with patients and families regarding care plans and procedures
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled
• Commit to working 36 hours per week (72 hours per pay period) for the duration of the 56-112 day assignment
• Maintain current licensure with the Michigan State Board of Nursing throughout employment
• Demonstrate greater than 2 years of related nursing work experience in acute care settings
