# Senior Backend Engineer — Intelligent File Services and Automation Platform

【About the Role】
We continuously create an intelligent platform that understands data, connects services, and moves work forward. Content distributed across devices, the cloud, and different storage spaces can be discovered, understood, synchronized, organized, and safely turned into action. You will build the services and automation behind this future, enabling AI, content discovery, data mobility, and workflows to collaborate reliably within constrained resources.

【Responsibilities】

• Build APIs for file browsing, search, copy, move, rename, deletion, and bulk operations.
• Develop execution mechanisms for automated classification, naming, relocation, and scheduling rules.
• Design background-job scheduling, progress, cancellation, retries, recovery, and result tracking.
• Integrate storage resources and support the file I/O, permissions, versioning, and conflicts required by content editors.
• Integrate existing AI capabilities, validate their output, and turn suggestions into safe, traceable file actions.
• Improve API contracts, security boundaries, observability, performance, and stability under constrained resources.

【Required Qualifications】

• Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language such as Rust, C, C++, or Go.
• Strong Linux fundamentals, including processes, IPC, filesystems, permissions, and resource management.
• Knowledge of file operations, cross-filesystem behavior, authentication, authorization, and path security.
• Experience designing APIs, background workers, schedulers, or asynchronous task systems.
• Ability to handle cancellation, retries, idempotency, partial success, interruptions, and service restarts.
• Ability to apply existing AI services while validating output, handling failures, and controlling resource use.

【Preferred Qualifications】

• Experience with Rust services or modernizing existing C or C++ systems.
• Experience with file management, storage, synchronization, backup, or content management systems.
• Familiarity with IPC, large-scale scanning, metadata, search indexing, or rule engines.
• Experience integrating document services, AI APIs, or Linux appliances.

• 開發檔案瀏覽、搜尋、複製、搬移、命名、刪除與批次處理 API。
• 建立檔案分類、命名、搬移與排程等自動化規則的執行機制。
• 設計背景任務的排程、進度、取消、重試、復原與結果追蹤。
• 整合不同儲存資源，並支援內容編輯所需的讀寫、權限、版本與衝突處理。
• 串接既有 AI 能力，驗證其輸出並轉換為安全、可追蹤的檔案動作。
• 強化 API 契約、安全邊界、可觀測性，以及有限資源下的效能與穩定性。

【必要能力】

• 熟悉 Rust、C、C++ 或 Go 等至少一種系統或後端程式語言。
• 具備 Linux 系統知識，理解 process、IPC、filesystem、permission 與 resource management。
• 熟悉檔案與目錄操作、跨檔案系統差異，以及認證授權與路徑安全。
• 具備 API、背景工作、排程器或非同步任務系統的設計與實作經驗。
• 能處理取消、重試、冪等性、部分成功、異常中斷與服務重啟。
• 能運用既有 AI 服務完成產品功能，並驗證輸出、處理失敗與控制資源使用。

【加分條件】

• 具備 Rust 後端、系統服務或既有 C/C++ 系統現代化經驗。
• 開發過檔案管理、儲存、同步、備份或內容管理系統。
• 熟悉 IPC、大量檔案掃描、metadata、搜尋索引或規則引擎。
• 具備文件服務、AI API 或 Linux appliance 的整合經驗。
