6723 - Apparel Designer cum Merchandising Assistant
Working Days: 5 Day A week (Mon - Fri)
Working hours: 8:30am-5:30pm (Lunch: 12noon-1pm)
Working Location: Kallang
Salary: $2400-$2700
Responsibilities
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
- Creating/visualizing an idea and producing a design by using a computer-aided design program.
- Understanding design and preparing specifications from a technical perspective to ensure samples & production are smooth.
- Working with the Marketing and Production teams to develop products that suit customers’ requirements and price points.
- Arrange QC to ensure samples are done right, and feedback to factories.
- Prepare documents and samples for tenders and projects.
- Sourcing, selecting, buying fabrics, trims, and accessories to propose to customers and update the library references.
- Assisting, coordinating, and supporting the Merchandising/Marketing team with marketing needs and production needs.
- Able to travel when necessary.
Requirements
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and MS Office
- Ability to draw fashion illustrations and technical flat
- Possess relevant working experiences will be a big advantage
