About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood educator to join our management team as Vice-Principal. This is a unique dual-role position that combines classroom teaching with hands-on leadership experience. This role is ideal for a Senior Teacher with leadership qualifications who is ready to step into management — with mentoring provided to support your transition.
Requirements
- Leadership Certification (ECDA-recognised) preferred, or currently undergoing leadership training
- Solid classroom teaching experience, preferably with upper-level preschoolers
- Experience teaching English Language and literacy to children
Responsibilities
Teaching Duties
- Teach English Language to an upper-level preschool class
- Deliver curriculum aligned with ECDA frameworks
- Plan and conduct engaging lessons that promote language and literacy development
- Oversee classroom learning and child development
Administrative & Leadership Duties
- Prepare and manage staff rosters
- Handle petty cash and groceries ordering
- Assist with parent billing and fee collection
- Conduct school tours in the Senior Principal's absence
- Greet parents, address feedback and resolve daily issues
- Manage ECDA paperwork and regulatory compliance
- Lead curriculum development and improvements
- Conduct teacher training and mentoring sessions
