77081_Process Engineering Supervisor

Purpose of the Position:

• Lead and support continuous process improvement activities, problem-solving sessions, new product or process receivership, cost reduction projects, and equipment installs and debug.
• Lead discussion on mechanistic understanding of complex engineering challenges and provide guidance on the application of Engineering First Principles.
• Improve existing manufacturing processes, equipment, and capabilities working with members from cross-functional teams.
• Responsible for a Process Engineering team, supports employees and ensures performance and development capability roadmap of the team.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet or exceed safety, quality, cost, capacity, and delivery objectives.
• Champion safety performance; Directly responsible for driving employee engagement and compliance.
• Manage daily production and quality issues; Quickly resolve performance issues by ensuring clear ownership of responsibilities.
• Define, manage, and support continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes.
• Work with Engineering to identify and resolve chronic equipment and process issues.
• Ensure effective transfer of next generation product and process technologies to manufacturing, including safety, ergonomics, 5's, procedures, training and production capacity.
