91500A - Driver

Summary: Under general supervision, operates a truck with a capacity of more than three tons to transport materials to and from designated destinations. Performs duties as directed by the immediate supervisor or Operations Manager. This is not a dock-to-dock position; drivers are required to break down and rotate products at all customer locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive trucks to designated destinations in a safe and timely manner.
Prepare delivery receipts and ensure the accuracy of products delivered against invoices. Document and report any discrepancies.
Collect payment for delivered goods when required and according to invoice instructions.
Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintain regular communication with Branch Management regarding deliveries, issues, and scheduling.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water levels.
Safely operate material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, ramps, loading docks, and lift gates, and perform required inspections.
Follow all applicable safety regulations, company safety policies, and established procedures.
Perform duties in a manner that prevents damage to company products, equipment, and facilities.
Ensure assigned equipment is clean and properly maintained at all times.
Respond promptly to customer questions and requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
Treat all internal and external customers with professionalism, respect, courtesy, and kindness.
Support and comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Demonstrate accountability by considering how individual actions impact customers, coworkers, and the company.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other company communications.
