A/V Installation Technician
Job Summary
Entry level role working in a team environment performing a variety of tasks related to AV installations in both residential and commercial settings. The position requires the ability to read and understand instructions and prints, perform heavy labor, and work effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Independent and Consistent Ability to perform the following:
- Pre-wire residential and commercial properties.
- Cut, terminate and identify various audio, video, data cables and wire.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and prints
- Ability to perform heavy labor, such as moving materials
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Physical stamina to handle strenuous work in hot or cold weather.
- Install TVs, Speakers, Video projectors, projector screens.
- Basic Ins/Outs, Rack wiring and AV signal paths and control signal paths.
- Proficient in Slack navigation. (Pinning items, finding information/ prints, uploading redlines)
