illumifin is currently seeking a Vice President of Compliance to lead the Compliance Department and functions as the company's Compliance and Privacy Officer. The primary areas of responsibility of the Compliance Department include: Researching and responding to policyholder complaints; monitoring state and federal laws applicable to insurance and third party administrator regulations; maintaining the company's licenses as a third party administrator; coordinating the company's response to and mitigation of unauthorized disclosures; complying with HIPAA and other state and federal privacy requirements; and managing the company's compliance program designed to meet the federal sentencing guidelines.

• Lead the Compliance Department function, including ownership of the prioritization, structure, and processes for complaint handling, unauthorized disclosures, and TPA licensing.
• Triage and lead response for unusual tasks and escalate as necessary -- for instance, unauthorized disclosures, market conduct exams, high profile audits, onboarding of new clients.
• Develop and maintain the company's compliance program.
• Identify trends in complaints and unauthorized disclosures to improve the company's operational performance.
• Communicate with clients on changes to laws that affect the administration of insurance.
• Effectively advocate for illumifin and its clients with Departments of Insurance.
• Educate new clients on the role of the Compliance Department.
• Maintain strong contacts with managers and business units to ensure functional compliance.
• Multiple other duties and projects based on business need.
