Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for assessing business requirements gathered through structured and unstructured approaches and combined with previous insurance industry experience, creates innovative solution designs.
System Business Systems Analyst Job Duties:
- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Creates original work products with minimal supervision utilizing strong insurance industry knowledge.
- Designs modifications by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications and designs.
- Improves systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
- Develops trust and close relationships with senior technical, project, and account management areas.
- Advanced ability to negotiate and resolve occasional business conflicts and address organizational challenges and evolving accountability.
- Works closely with technical team on solution designs.
- Works closely with quality assurance and automated testing teams to develop exceptional test plans.
- Recommends controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
- Able to travel as needed (limited travel required).
