ABA Note Writer
We are looking for a detail-oriented ABA Note Writer to support our clinical team by transforming session data and therapist input into clear, professional documentation. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and consistency across Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) service records. The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, understands ABA terminology, and can efficiently convert raw notes into structured reports that meet industry standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Review therapists’ session notes, data sheets, and recordings to produce accurate documentation
- Write clear, professional progress notes that reflect ABA methodologies and client goals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational documentation standards
- Maintain consistency in formatting, language, and reporting style across all notes
- Collaborate with therapists and supervisors to clarify session details when needed
- Deliver timely documentation to support billing and reporting requirements
Required Skills
- Strong written English and documentation skills
- Familiarity with ABA terminology, principles, and session structures
- High attention to detail and ability to capture nuanced session information
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Proficiency with documentation tools (Google Docs, Microsoft Word, EMR systems)
