ABB Welding Robot Programmer Technician

Currently, from the specialized line in Mecánica 4.0 GI PRO, we are looking for A WELDING ROBOT AND AUTOMATION PROGRAMMING TECHNICIAN for an important company in the automotive sector located in BURGOS.

What you'll do

Ensure the availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of robotic welding cells, with a special focus on ABB robots, ensuring production continuity, process quality, and compliance with safety standards.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ABB robots and robotic welding cells.

- Work with ABB robots IRB and controllers IRC5 / OmniCore.

- Programming and adjustments in RAPID, making corrections to paths, welding points, and optimizing cycle times.

- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of faults related to servos, axes, safety systems, and communications.

- Configuration and diagnosis of inputs/outputs and fieldbuses such as Profinet and Ethernet/IP.

- Adjustment and maintenance of torches, welding clamps, TCP, and dynamic TCP.

- Use of RobotStudio for diagnostics and offline programming.

-Higher Level Vocational Training in Industrial Automation and Robotics or engineering related to automation and robotics.

What we're looking for

-Previous experience in maintenance and programming of ABB robots is ESSENTIAL.

- Knowledge of ABB RAPID programming, including MoveL, MoveJ, and MoveC movements, digital/analog signals, and interrupts and trap routines.

- Experience with ABB systems IRC5 or OmniCore.
