Abinitio Developer - ETL/Data Pipeline

About the role :

You will design, build and maintain ETL data pipelines using Ab Initio to move and transform large volumes of data for reporting and analytics.

What you will do :

- Design, develop and maintain ETL graphs and plans using Ab Initio

- Extract data from multiple sources, transform it and load it into target systems

- Use Ab Initio components, parallelism and partitioning for high-volume processing

- Tune graphs and troubleshoot performance issues

- Schedule and monitor batch jobs, and fix failures

- Write SQL and Unix shell scripts to support data processing and validation

- Work with data architects, testers and business teams to meet data requirements

- Document designs and support production releases

What you need :

- 8+ years of experience in ETL development, with strong hands-on Ab Initio experience

- Strong knowledge of Ab Initio GDE, Co>Operating System, EME and Conduct>It

- Strong SQL skills with databases such as Oracle, Teradata or SQL Server

- Good Unix/Linux shell scripting skills

- Understanding of data warehousing, data modelling and ETL/ELT concepts

- Experience with batch scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to have :

- Experience with Ab Initio Metadata Hub, Express>It or BRE

- Experience with Hadoop, Hive or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

- Knowledge of data quality and data governance practices

- Experience working in Agile teams
