Job
Responsibilities:
Language & Communication Support
- Provide live and written
translations between English and Arabic for coaches, players, and academy
staff.
- Assist during training
sessions, tactical meetings, and match analysis to ensure players fully
understand instructions.
- Translate official club
documents, training materials, reports, and internal communications.
- Facilitate communication
between international players and academy staff to ensure seamless integration.
Tactical & Technical Understanding
- Deep understanding of
football tactics, training methodologies, and terminology to accurately
interpret coaching instructions.
- Assist in translating
tactical discussions, set-piece strategies, and video analysis sessions.
- Ensure football-specific
language is correctly conveyed to enhance player development and performance.
Educational Supervision & English Language
Development
- Design and conduct English
language sessions and educational lectures for academy residency players.
- Focus on football-specific
English terminology to help players communicate effectively on the field.
- Provide lessons on general communication skills, media interactions, and
daily life conversations.
- Assist players in improving their academic and professional language
abilities for future career opportunities.
Player & Staff Support
- Support young international players in adapting to their new cultural and
football environment.
- Act as a mentor for players, helping them develop essential life skills
alongside their football education.
Cultural & Professional Guidance
- Help bridge cultural differences to create a positive and inclusive academy
environment.
- Provide international staff and players with insights into local customs
and football culture.
Other: - Further duties at the discretion of line Manager or Academy Technical
Director
Requirements
- Bachelor’s
degree in Languages, Education or Literature
- SAFF,
AFC C License
- FIFA
Guardian safeguarding qualification
- Fluency
in English and Arabic (both spoken and written)
- Teaching
or training experience in English language education is a strong advantage
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong
understanding of football tactics, coaching methodologies, and terminology
- Teaching
or training experience in English language education is a strong advantage
- Excellent
communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
