Access Guard
Role Summary:
The Access Guard is responsible for managing all vehicle arrivals and departures at the cross-dock facility, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety protocols while delivering exceptional service to clients. As Guard Shack Security, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, security, and privacy of clients and their shipments. This position offers a dynamic and challenging work environment, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through diligent oversight and customer-focused service.
Key Result Areas:
· Verify and document all vehicle arrivals and departures, ensuring adherence to proper procedures.
· Conduct security checks and inspection of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
· Assist drivers with parking, loading, and unloading instructions, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
· Maintain accurate logs of all transactions related to vehicle movements and delivery schedules.
· Enforce safety, security, and privacy protocols to safeguard clients' shipments and facility integrity.
· Communicate effectively with drivers, team members, and management regarding vehicle status and operational issues.
· Respond promptly to any security or safety concerns, escalating incidents when necessary.
· Support the overall efficiency of the cross-dock operations by facilitating smooth vehicle flow and minimizing delays.
Qualifications:
· Prior experience in security, logistics, or warehousing preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety policies.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
· Basic computer skills for logging and data entry.
· Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical duties for extended periods.
