Accessory Installer 2 Police
Job Summary
Responsible for installing custom graphics, paint protection film (PPF), and various vehicle accessories. This includes removing factory-installed components and installing new ones per customer specifications and written instructions. Also supports training of junior installers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install accessory components including graphics, PPF, splashguards, crossbars, remote starts, and more.
- Ensure installations meet customer specifications and dimensional technical standards.
- Follow FIFO scheduling and TAKT time requirements.
- Tag non-conforming materials and complete final inspection documentation.
- Comply with safety and environmental policies; report concerns.
- Train and mentor Accessory Installer 1 and new hires.
- Maintain clean work area and follow 5S standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2–3 years of accessory installation, including custom graphics
- Skills:
- Fine motor skills and dexterity
- Ability to work independently
- Patience and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification
- 3–5 years of experience with complex graphic installations
- Advanced training and mentoring skills
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, robotics, and automotive components
- Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in flexible positions
- PPE required on production floor
