Account and Audit Intern

You'll play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations and supporting audit and compliance processes at Hata. You'll accurately record accounting transactions including invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely data entry. You'll prepare and maintain management accounts, reconcile digital wallets, bank accounts, and other financial records, and assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements. You'll monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing. You'll also assist in audit processes, including documentation preparation, and collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze financial data for audit and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely data entry
• Prepare and maintain management accounts, ensuring data accuracy and organization
• Reconcile digital wallets, bank accounts, and other financial records to maintain accuracy and accountability
• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing
• Assist in audit processes, including documentation preparation
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze financial data for audit and reporting purposes

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Google Sheets
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices is a plus
• Pursuing or holding a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant educational background or prior working experience in finance operations or accounting is an advantage
• Familiarity with digital assets, cryptocurrencies, or fintech is a plus
