Account and Audit Manager

Lead, supervise and monitor a team of accountants, auditors, bookkeepers and junior staff, and plan, monitor and assist in the progress of client assignments, internal team work and complex accounting, reconciliation and reporting matters as required;

Provide accounting, audit and operational training and guidance to staff, review current workflow and operational processes, and assist in the implementation of process improvements, internal procedures and SOPs;

Review and/or prepare management accounts, statutory financial statements, consolidated financial statements, GST returns, supporting schedules and other accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting or audit related work assigned by the Company, including urgent, complex or high priority assignments where necessary;

Review and monitor staff work to ensure compliance with ACRA, IRAS, MAS and other relevant regulatory requirements in Singapore, and ensure all assignments and statutory filings are completed accurately and within stipulated deadlines;

Perform audit assignments, audit fieldwork and preparation of audit working papers where required by operational needs or manpower arrangements of the Company, and assist in ensuring audit assignments are completed in accordance with applicable auditing standards and the Company’s internal procedures;

Cross-review audit reports, audit working papers and audit documentation with other Audit Managers and audit personnel;

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, regulators and clients in relation to accounting, audit and compliance matters;

Coordinate with the tax department on tax computation, tax filing and related tax matters;

Prepare periodic progress and operational reports for Management review;

Assist Management in operational planning, manpower coordination and process improvement initiatives;

Undertake any other duties and ad hoc assignments as may be assigned by the Company from time to time.
