Account Executive (8-10 months)
THE ROLE:
Acts as a liaison between clients and /or producing brokers and placing brokers to ensure new business, renewal and mid-term requirements are fully understood and best met through the provision of suitable covers, appropriate pricing and efficient servicing.
WHAT YOU‘LL do:
Administration Assistance to Brokers
§Provide day-to-day administration support to Brokers in Singapore as required.
§Ensure that all relevant files &documentation are submitted in an accurate and timely fashion.
§Ensure full and accurate completion of all softcopy files, and completion of all “Global” system entries and records.
§Act as primary interface between Broking and other departments, primarily Claims and Finance.
Day To Day Duties
§ Interact directly with Clients & Underwriters of the Company as required.
§ Provide all assistance necessary in the identification and development of new business opportunities.
§ Support broking colleagues with information gathering and the preparation of broking presentations.
Professional Standards
§ Assist in the ongoing monitoring of compliance with agreed Company procedures in the Broking Department.
§ Assist in the continual improvement and maintenance of service standards, defined in terms of both substance and speed.
§ Ongoing assistance in the development of new or existing protocols and procedures.
Other Responsibilities
§ Assist inthe continual development and improvement of all documentation and communication media.
§ Ongoing review, development and improvement of all the above.
§ Any other duties assigned by the Company.
KNOWLEDGEAND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Previous experience within the insurance-related industry
- Understanding of insurance market processes and procedures
- Basic technical knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements applicable to insurance intermediaries
- Ability to conduct market, industry, and client research to identify business opportunities and support client engagement

- Ability to identify client needs and articulate suitable insurance solutions
- Strong stakeholder management skills with both internal and external parties
