Account Executive

Position Overview

The Account Executive (Non-QM Wholesale) is responsible for fully understanding a client’s needs and determining whether our company can meet them. Their duties include regularly meeting quotas, goals, and other forms of client expectations, helping clients understand the limits of their budget or resources and consistently meeting project deadlines. They also act as an intermediary between other departments within the company to ensure the success of loan takers.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:

• Communicate with clients to gather information on budgets, timelines and needs
• Qualify inbound leads and negotiate terms with clients
• Collaborate with decision-makers to identify opportunities and drive sales
• Maintain regular client contact to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues
• Educate and assist new brokers with loan products, pricing and AHL processes
• Train brokers on loan submission, processing, underwriting and closing
• Set expectations with brokers on the loan process and manage performance
• Coordinate with AHL Account Managers and leadership to achieve production goals
• Participate in ongoing broker training and ensure alignment with AHL guidelines

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

• 1+ years of experience in wholesale mortgage lending sales (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Encompass/LON
• Knowledge of Non-QM products (Bridge, DSCR-Business Purpose, Fix/Flip)
• Ability to conduct and attend web meetings, presentations, trade shows and seminars
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior customer service and account management skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and attention to detail abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Budget management and market research experience
• Ability to think critically and meet time-sensitive client needs
• Self-motivated, with strong initiative and the ability to build and maintain relationships

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proven experience as an account executive or similar sales/customer service role

This job operates in an office setting and is largely sedentary, requiring the routine use of a computer and other standard office equipment.
